Now for the final part you want to disconnect the rubber propane hose and replace it with the new natural gas hose.  This is a flared fitting, so pipe tape should not be used.  The other end of the hose with the quick connect will then attach to your natural gas supply.  The fittings have half inch NPT threads.  These are tapered threads, so you’ll want to use yellow gas tape for this connection.  Once everything is hooked up all gas connections should be tested for leaks using soapy water.
When connected to natural gas, the burner requires a supply pressure of between 3-and-a-half-inch and 7-inches water column.  Your gas installer will know if they need to add a regulator to reduce your supply pressure.  They’re likely to have one in their truck, if not we do have the natural gas regulators available.
