What are the advantages of laser cutting of weather-resistant steel plates?

Compared with other hot cutting methods, laser incision is characterized by fast cutting speed and high quality. Specifically summarized in the following aspects.

Because the laser spot is small, the energy density is high, the cutting speed is fast, so the laser cutting can get better cutting quality.

① The laser incision is narrow, both sides of the slit are parallel and perpendicular to the surface, and the standard accuracy of the cut part can reach ±0.05mm.

② The cutting surface is bright and beautiful, the surface roughness is only tens of microns, and even the laser cutting can be used as the last process, without mechanical processing, and the parts can be directly used.

③ After the material is cut through the laser, the width of the heat affected zone is small, the function of the material near the slit is almost unaffected, and the workpiece deformation is small, the cutting precision is high, the geometry of the slit is good, and the cross-section shape of the slit appears more regular rectangular. The comparison of laser incision, oxy-acetylene incision and plasma incision methods is shown in Table 1. The cutting material is low carbon steel plate with a thickness of 6.2mm.

(2) High cutting efficiency Due to the transmission characteristics of the laser, the laser cutting machine is generally equipped with multiple numerical control tables, and the entire cutting process can be completely completed. ⑷ Non-contact incision

When laser cutting, the cutting torch has no contact with the red rust weathering steel plate, the rust steel plate and the red rust steel plate, and there is no tool wear. Processing parts of different shapes, do not need to replace the "tool", just change the output parameters of the laser. Laser incision process has low noise, low vibration and no pollution.

Compared with oxy-acetylene incision and plasma incision, there are many types of laser incision materials, including metal, non-metal, metal base and non-metal base composite materials, leather, wood and fiber. However, for different materials, due to their thermal physical function and different absorption rate of laser, they show different laser incision adaptability. Due to the limitation of laser power and equipment volume, laser cutting can only cut plates and pipes of medium and small thickness, and with the increase of workpiece thickness, the cutting speed decreases significantly.
